Ay world what's good?
I'm gonna keep it short and sweet: Summer is about to go on hiatus for a few months and fall is about to join the party like the unwanted guest that for some reason always shows up when you're really about to turn up. Now, to celebrate the end of summer, I'm dropping a little freestyle as my own personal diary entry for summer 2025. ABOUT NEFEW

Not many artists have the ability to excel in a variety of disciplines. NEFEW (New Enlightenment From Every Word), a rising rapper, singer, and producer, doesn’t conform to any boundaries when it comes to creating. Although his passion might be rooted in hip-hop, his talents and deep love for music have given him the ability to cross over into different genres and apply his musical discoveries to his own work. NEFEW fell in love with music at an early age, coming from a lineage of musicians and avid music collectors. His father and grandfather were both musicians – his father still is – while his uncle shares the same deep passion for collecting records. Growing up surrounded by Hip-Hop, Jazz, Soul, Progressive Rock, and Electronic Music, studying and making music became second nature to him. Whether it was listening to records, playing the piano, soccer or skateboarding, these were the things that had a strong hold over him. No wonder music was never just a career choice – it was a calling he answered without hesitation.
